Greetings from Dr. Dungy

I hope that you truly enjoy our practice. We are doing our best to create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. I think that you will find that our team will be courteous, professional, encouraging, and an absolute joy during your time here in our office. We want you to just relax and allow us to serve you the best way we know how.

I also want you to know that I take the opportunity to serve Jesus through our dentistry very seriously. I am praying during our appointments that Jesus gifts our team with knowledge, wisdom, and skills to treat your dental needs. I am also praying for you, the patient, to experience the healing powers of Jesus both physically and spiritually. So you are invited to enjoy our Lord and Savior in which ever capacity you wish to worship Him. Please do not hesitate to invite me into praying with you, whether it is for your dental treatment, or for other personal needs that you may have. Either way, we want to give all the praise, honor, and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thank-you again for trusting Immanuel Dental with your dental health care.

Thank-you and welcome!

Meet Our Team

Dr. Linden Dungy

Dr. Linden Dungy

Greetings!

First and foremost, I want to give all thanks, honor, and glory to Jesus Christ for this wonderful opportunity He has given us to serve Him here in Farmington, MN. We also acknowledge his merciful gifting He has bestowed upon us through the generosity of others He has placed in our path.

Speaking of paths, my path started in Jackson, Michigan, where I was born and raised. I had the opportunity to discover what a great place Minnesota was when I would spend my summers here with my brother and his friends when they attended the University of Minnesota. I attended dental school here at the U starting in 1982, receiving my D.D.S. degree in 1986. I spent the next year in Pittsburgh, PA for some advanced training in dentistry (GPR) before returning to Minnesota. I have been a practicing dentist in the Twin Cities since 1987 and have many different employment experiences under my belt, ranging from private practice, instructing at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, serving patients in the Twin Cities community clinics, being dental director of Model Cities (now called Open Cities Health Center), working in large group practices (both Metro Dentalcare and Park Dental) to coming full circle back to private practice as the Founder and C.E.O. of Immanuel Dental in 2005 (until present).

My wife Donna and I have two Children, Branden and Alon who are all grown up now and we have been blessed with what we hope is a growing collection of grandchildren who we just love and ador. Our family has truly been blessed by Jesus in so many ways and through the ministry of dentistry; we are returning the blessings that we receive to give all praise, honor, and glory to our Lord and Savior.

We give you an open invitation to come in, meet us, and rest your feet. We would like to show off our skills and hospitality to you. Either way, whether it be in word or deed, we endeavor to give you our best. The door is always open to you.

Thank you again for trusting Immanuel Dental with your dental health care.

Thank you and welcome.
Linden

Adria - Licensed Dental Assistant

Adria

Licensed Dental Assistant

Adria has been working with Dr. Dungy since 1997 (one of the original 3), fresh out of dental assisting school she has developed into a very outstanding dental assistant. She has developed outstanding work habits. To name just a few, she hates being idle, if things need to be accomplished, she is without prompting, first to interject herself into the endeavor.

She has an endearing personality that reflects her genuine concern for our patients, but mainly, and most importantly she is an outstanding assistant, and an outstanding person. She loves to have fun at work and she prefers to get her work done and then leave to her first love, which is her family. She has a quiet strength that goes unnoticed which is she makes everyone around her more comfortable, more confident in what they do, and we all perform better when she is at work. She is the strength of our team. When she is present, everyone and everything just goes a little better. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys traveling, biking, and watching her daughters play soccer.

Bobbi - Licensed Dental Hygienist

Bobbi

Licensed Dental Hygienist, Lead Clinical Administer

It is said that the atom is the driving force that makes everything what it is. Well, Bobbi is Immanuel Dental’s atom, because she is at the core of all we do. Without Bobbi, our whole DNA would look different. She is one of the “original 3” and not having her with us from the beginning, would have been like the Confederate army actually winning the civil war. Secondly, she has been treating patients since 1996 and she is top shelf, she is an outstanding dental hygienist.

No one in our office cares more about our patients in general and the outcome of their treatment than she does, and all of our team members care very much about the success of our patients. Her clinical administrative responsibilities are imperative to our success, especially when we are facing an uphill battle. She has a warrior’s heart when it comes to achieving her tasks and helping our team to being better. When she is not working she enjoys her quiet times, spending time with her family, seeing her boys grow and mature, maturing in her Christian walk, and being a part of her church family. Oh she might have one short coming; she is a Green Bay Packer fan (smileee).

Alon - Patient Representative

Alon

Patient Representative

Without a doubt, Alon is our most identifiable team member. I must confess, he has the biggest following of all our team members including those of us that have been here from the first day we opened our doors for service. Having graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in Art (theater), being at the front desk suits his personality perfectly.

He is very good at greeting all our patients and trying to make them feel very much at home when they are here for dental services. Having a theater background, he sees life through a series of movie quotes and will freely hit you with one when you visit our office. At first, I was very much against having any of my family work for Immanuel Dental, but having Alon here has benefited both him and me and our father/son relationship. I get to witness first hand what a wonderful man he is turning into. P.S. Alon’s most favorite movie is “Forrest Gump.”

Jeannie - Licensed Dental Assistant

Jeannie

Licensed Dental Assistant

When Jeannie joined our team back in 2018, she came with a great deal of experience. She is a veteran dental assistant as she has been in dentistry for many years. She enjoys working with our patients and helping them in all areas of dentistry. She makes it a point to try and get to know all our patients on a personal level and really enjoys seeing them all have success, not just in the treatment they receive but in life also.

Having grown up in a small-town atmosphere, she brings that same personality to the office. When Jeannie is away from the office she enjoys volunteering, gardening, visiting state parks and traveling with her husband and family, including her beautiful grandchildren.

Lindsay, Lead Operations Administrator

Lindsay

Lead Operations Administrator

Lindsay is a recent hire starting with our practice in 2020. She came to our office with literally no dental experience, but she came highly recommended and she has not disappointed. She has strived in everything she has learned, accomplishing and incorporating all these new skills into her position as a leader in our office. She has proven to be a Blue Chip, 5-Star hire and I could not be any prouder of all she has accomplished.

Her most endearing quality is her eternal optimism coupled with an overabundance of cheerfulness. She is very organized and completes all her task with laser like efficiency. She has a very gentle spirit and she enjoys greeting our patients and building relationships through helping and service. When she is not at our practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, ice fishing, camping, being at her family lake home, and watching the Vikings! She balances out her life by exploring, traveling, and trying new things

Claudia, Licensed Dental Hygienist

Claudia

Licensed Dental Hygienist

Claudia is one of our newer team members; she has been in the dental field since 1996 and was introduced to our office from a temporary agency. She was asked to join our team because she has many of the characteristics that we look for in an employee. She is hard working, very passionate about the work she does, and is very concerned for every patient wanting to see all of them improve and be healthy. She likes to take a holistic emphasis to healthcare and looks for opportunities to pass this on in her care of our patients.

When she is not working at Immanuel Dental, she enjoys her family time, particularly when she and Tony (husband) can take time to enjoy the outdoors (camping, hiking, and biking). She is a proud grandmother of 5 wonderful grandchildren and she loves every opportunity she has to spend time with them. She is very committed in her Christian faith being very active with both St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the People of Praise. She is a person of service, she is involved in volunteer work (multiple Sclerosis, Mission of Mercy Dental Services), She has many interests and hobbies such as gardening, sewing, embroidery, playing guitar & reading.  Her pet rabbit, Willow, is also another light in her life, only second to her grandchildren.

Why the name Immanuel Dental?

The name “Immanuel” is significant because it translates into “God with us”, which refers to the coming of the Messiah, who brings salvation to the world. God has brought salvation to the world, through the incarnate, the Christ, our Lord and Savior Jesus. The Earth and every thing in it belongs to the Lord. Our success starts, is sustained, and ends with His calling and anointing upon us.

By writing this name on the doorframes and gates of our house we proclaim and make public that Jesus is our Lord and savior. We endeavor to make this practice a place were we can as brothers and sisters in Christ, speak of Jesus freely and rejoice in His glory. We ask Jesus to bless this dental practice and to sustain us in all our ways until His work for us is completed. We give all praise, honor, and glory to our Savior.

As commanded in Deuteronomy 6:5-9:

“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
